Mexico

Mexican Market

Mexico is a country of widespread spiritual needs. In some places, less than two percent of the population has heard and received the message that salvation comes through Christ alone. In some parts of the country a syncretistic mix of Catholic practice and Indian tribal beliefs has further confused people, resulting in superstitious rituals and obscuring the true nature of the Gospel.

The economic needs in Mexico also run very deep. Many people throughout the country live on less than two dollars per day. However, even those who are very poor gladly give of their possessions to serve others. The culture is friendly, warm, hospitable, and generous.

There is an open door in Mexico for those who have an attitude of humility and desire to serve. A time of service in Mexico will open your eyes to the numerous spiritual needs and show you how you can be a part of a dynamic ministry.

TESTIMONY

“I just got back from five days in the jungle. We have been working with the Lacandone Indians teaching children’s programs and showing Gospel films in their language. Easter Sunday we met at church for a sunrise service. The church was lit by two candles. It’s incredible to see people following God in the most remote parts of the world. Through this experience, the Lord made it clear to me how life is so short and frail. I started to realize the interests in my life were not in the right place at all. I made a goal to honor God and make this one of the most meaningful years of my life. I can’t wait to see what He does!”
