Family Facts:Loriann is the third born of five children with three brothers and one sister.

About Loriann:
Loriann has worked in various children and youth ministries since 1998. She was on staff with the IBLP International Department in 2006 and 2007. Her international experience includes going first as a participant and then as an assistant team leader on short-term missions trips to Romania, Mexico, Ecuador, and Russia. Loriann is currently working as an administrative assistant for Global Encounters. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing/snowboarding, various other sports, photography, and singing.

Loriann’s Perspective on International ministry:
“The Lord has given me a heart for children, young people, and missions. My first experience with international ministry was in 2005 when I participated in a three-week trip to Romania. Before then, I had hardly set so much as a toe outside of my home state. So, to participate in something like this was WAY out of my ‘comfort zone’. It was the most amazing three-weeks of my life! God used that time to open my eyes to the incredible needs that are out there. He gave me a vision and a passion to serve Him, not only internationally, but anywhere God places me. It is awesome to see how much God can do in just a few weeks of international ministry, not only in the lives of the people we are serving overseas, but also in the lives of the young people that participate in short-term missions. One of the reasons I continue to work with these teams is to see young people catch the same vision and passion for serving the Lord that I experienced on my first trip.”
