She has also served with various youth and children’s ministries since 1995. Leah has previously worked as an assistant team leader on trips to various regions of Mexico, including Chiapas. Aside from everyday responsibilities, she enjoys cooking/catering, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Leah’s Perspective on International Ministry:
From the time I was a young child, God gave me the desire to serve Him in other countries. I am grateful that in the past few years He’s been fulfilling that dream. Each time I’ve gone on an international trip, the Lord has taught me new life lessons and revealed to me more about who He is. I consider a it a double privilege to be able to work with American young people in other lands; places often so different from what we know. Its a blessing to witness growth in the lives of the students who are willing to get out of their comfort zones and see how God does a work in them. And not only this, but to experience together the fulfillment of impacting the lives of others for Christ. What could be more exciting than allowing the Lord to show His love through everyday people like us to change the lives of people around the world?
