Much-needed Sleep

Hola, hola, hola. OK, today we were supposed to wake up for devotions by 10:00. I woke up, reluctantly, to the sound of Tim making up his bed. I missed breakfast so I went straight to devotions. The game plan for today was to go to the bank to exchange money then to go shopping. Jamie was not feeling good so Dena stayed home with her. The rest of us went to the Itau Bank, where we stayed just to find out that you had to have a passport to exchange money. So we all gave money to the various passport carriers. Finally we decided to go to another bank.

After exchanging our money, we went to the black market. In the market we saw a lot of counterfeit clothing. Josue bought a very stylish jacket. Dispues (translation: after) the black market, we went home and played soccer for a little bit followed by a very intense game of volleyball. We all had to go back to our rooms to prepare for yet another day of CI.

In our amazing class, consisting of Jamie, Crystal, and I, we talked about suffering and forgiveness. We illustrated this character quality by doing the unforgiving servant.

In large group we did the Hockenstock skit.

Tim looked WAY too comfortable being a geek.

After the kids program we were very hungry so we went to a coffee/ Italian restaurant. It ended up being a tango place fit with 49 disco balls. Pastor Salad Bar (Salazar) got up to introduce people to the stage. It was very fun. That night, on the drive back, David treated us to a joke that was just to take up time, it was way too pink though. After getting in my pajamas I went to get my toothpaste but was stopped by Elizabeth and Daniel for the common question, “John why do you wait till you in your PJ’s to get your toothpaste.â€

After reading the Bible, I tried to get some much-needed sleep.
