Special Prayer Request

My sister Ruth has been sick for much of the trip. The last couple of days especially she has not been feeling well. We are doing everything we can treat the physical symptoms and the team has really rallied around her with prayer and support (as they have for each team member who has not felt well or just had a difficult day or challenging assignment), but we would appreciate your prayers for her as well.

Greatings Peru team!
Don’t we serve an amazing God! Isn’t it great that we can be half way around the world from each other and yet both boast about the wonderful ways God has worked on our behalf! (Though to be honest, I think He’s worked greater over here in Russia…just kidding Elizabeth.) We are finaly back from our second camp. Hey with no running water, no showers, one toilet for all fifteen of us, sleeping on air mattresses that stayed pumped for part of the night, cooking all our meals and more kids with each day…we had an absolute blast! God’s hand has truly been with us throughout this trip. Anyhoo…just wanted to return the favor of the comment on the blog, (thanks Elizabeth!) May God richly bless the remainder of your guy’s stay, and may he use this time to show HImself to you in ways you never would have imagined. Isn’t it great ministering for a God who loves to give good gifts to His children!?

Dear Elizabeth and CMI team,
It was a privilege serving the Lord with you while your stay in Trujillo… I have learned so many things, not only thru the stories and verses, but from your lives and our God´s love which flows thru each one of you. Thanks for all… may our Lord continue to guide you and bless you as you follow Him faithfully…

AMERICA!!! I’m so grateful for you! Thanks for your encouraging words and all the help you gave us in Trujillo. You are amazing. God’s light shone through you in a special way that week- we couldn’t have done it without you!
