Saturday was a first time experience for me. Never before have I acted in a CI skit. I think that the majority ruled that I ended up looking like a combination of the white witch of Narnia and Carmen San Diego. Anyway, I lost the game of Musical Chairs, so I don’t have much to brag on. The day was a long one, with the kids program starting at 9:00am and going until 7:00pm, but the time seemed to fly by and before we knew it, we were saying goodbye to the kids and climbing onto the bus for a long trip back to Lima.
With the trip now officially half over it’s neat to look back on all that the Lord has done in and through us as we have worked down here. God has truly been good to our team. With two back to back children’s programs that were a matter of an eight hour bus ride apart, it’s been an exhausting schedule. My typical life in the States leaves a lot of God’s grace untapped. I have everything under my control and so for the most part I can be calm, cool and relaxed. Here things are not necessarily on schedule, time for sleep is sometimes short, and Satan’s attacks are strong. So it’s become more and more apparent to me how great and powerful God is when we actually rely on Him in the more difficult times.
Continue to pray for us as we serve down here. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.
In Christ Alone,

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
