Canon de Sumidero

This is the single.php page.

After a long week of school (and illness) here in Chiapas, it was time for a break! We drove about 45 minutes away to take a boat ride down the awesome Sumidero Canyon. Though it was cold, we had fun speeding along the river with canyon walls towering thousands of feet over our heads. I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of the story.

Pray for us as we head into next week… especially that the team would stay healthy. We all know the mission field and sickness just kind of go hand-in-hand, but that’s doesn’t make it fun.

Creo que iré para una nadada. ¡Cambié mi mente! (I think I will go for a swim. Changed my mind!) In addition to crocodiles, we also saw vultures, monkeys, an iguana, and lots of other water birds.
